NEW DELHI: Former defence minister A Ok Antony suffered a “minor” brain haemorrhage and was once admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi, a senior physician of the health facility stated.
“He was admitted in the afternoon (yesterday). He suffered a minor brain haemorrhage after he fell down at his home,” stated the physician on situation of anonymity.
The 76-year-old Congress chief from Kerala was once the defence minister all through the UPA govt.
He served because the defence minister for greater than seven years, the longest for an Indian defence minister.
